PowerShift LLC is the premier consulting resource for nuclear plant owners and managers. Our mission is to help them obtain maximum long-term, risk-adjusted value from their assets. We have worked with a large percentage of the owners of U.S. nuclear plants in addressing asset management issues including asset value, plant and organizational performance and safety management. We have developed and applied simulation models to provide enhanced understanding and insight into these issues. For several years we have been conducting independent research and developing simulation models directed at safety management and safety culture issues.
We support clients with a combination of analytic tools, innovative decision support methods, and our proprietary simulation tools: POWERGEN, a nuclear plant and fleet business simulation and NuclearSafetySim, a management flight simulator for safety management. We also work with organizations to improve their performance with respect to the primary drivers of asset performance: organizational effectiveness, safety/regulatory performance, and equipment reliability and protection.
